We index the card itself. Laptops with a 3080, prebuilt gaming PCs, waterblocks, brackets, and “for parts / as-is” listings are all filtered out — a cheap “RTX 3080” in the raw feed is often a laptop or a broken card, and mixing those in would distort the number. 3080 Ti listings are excluded too: the Ti is a different card at a higher price point, so this index tracks the standard RTX 3080 only.
Used RTX 3080 supply is concentrated on eBay, so this index is primarily eBay data, with other marketplaces adding only small pools; the per-marketplace split below shows exactly where today’s cards are.
